Sony set out to create PIIQ, a headphone brand designed to feel more like a fashion accessory than a traditional piece of electronics. PIIQ broke away from the standard black-and-gray tech aesthetic, instead embracing bold colors, street style influences, and creative expression, making the headphones and earbuds a statement piece for the wearer.
Working across multiple creative touchpoints, I helped bring PIIQ’s brand identity to life — from designing the logo and product graphics to developing packaging, advertising campaigns, and a full brand look book. Each element reflected the brand’s youthful energy, blending vibrant visuals with urban culture influences.
The design system also highlighted the products’ durability, built to withstand active lifestyles and extreme sports. Collaborating closely with artists and DJs, the creative direction ensured that self-expression was at the heart of the brand — visually, verbally, and experientially.
